BACKGROUND
The Argentimes is the first English-language newspaper in Argentina aimed the youth market. It is a high-quality, free publication written by and for young people. Since its launch in June 2006, The Argentimes has attracted a large loyal readership base.
The Argentimes readership includes English-speaking Argentines, the younger sector of the ex-pat community, and the many thousands of tourists the country attracts annually. The paper is currently working with independent tour operators and a number of hostels/hotels to increase the readership throughout the country. The Argentimes is distributed primarily in Buenos Aires, but is growing throughout Argentina, and will soon be distributed in border areas of Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay.
The content of The Argentimes focuses on news, current affairs, the Arts, culture, reviews, sport and travel within Buenos Aires and Argentina as a whole. It also focuses on local charities, community developments and projects needing support. The paper also helps increase the profile of local artists, designers and writers through feature articles within our pages.
The Argentimes is an independent publication, and is not sponsored by, linked to, or affiliated with any other media outlet or publication, either within Argentina or overseas.
